OCCO Legislative Reception

Ohio Statehouse Atrium

Ohio Council of County Officials (OCCO) invites you to a Legislative Reception. Representatives from other OCCO member organizations will be in attendance as well as many members of the 133rd Ohio General Assembly. Also, we are hopeful that some of our statewide office holders will attend.

OCCO is an organization that strives to unite the associations representing county elected officials and judges, in order to promote sound, efficient and fiscally responsible government. It serves as a forum to provide information about issues of importance to county elected officials and allows members the opportunity to work together on legislative issues of mutual concern.

We hope you will join OCCO for this Reception on Tuesday, April 9 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Statehouse Atrium in Columbus.

Counties are eager to work with the 133rd General Assembly to improve the state-county partnership. Ohio’s 88 counties serve as the administrative partners of the state by providing vital services, such as infrastructure, justice and public safety, human services, economic development, and many others. Given the challenge of balancing limited resources with increasing costs and demand for services, communication between state and county elected officials is more critical than ever. This reception will be a wonderful opportunity to exchange ideas and information about how to best meet the needs of our mutual constituents.

We request the courtesy of an RSVP by April 4. Register HERE.

Please contact Mary Jane Neiman, CCAO Public Relations Associate, at 614/220-7979, 888/757-1904 ext. 302 or mjneiman@ccao.org if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you at the reception.
